January 27, 2007Wow, he still has his stuff, It was as good as listening to an album, or 8 track or cassette, Half of You probably never even owned 1 LOL.......Any ways he still rocks on, there were people from 17 - 70 years old and every one of them were standing and having a blast. it was unbelievable, Turn the page rocked the house down. We were in the 13th row which is like 25 ft from the stage...... Totally worth going to If he comes to a city near You.

January 28, 2007LOL SVT, He did beautiful loser, It was so electric. He may be old classic rock, but old is not in his voice.
January 28, 2007I think the one I remember most was Night Moves. I don't think I had any of his 8 tracks but I did have an AC/DC one.
January 28, 2007Well we are showing our age when we admit to owning 8 tracks...
January 28, 2007Awesome. That would be a great concert to see. I need to get out more.
January 28, 2007Just watched a 20 minute interview with Seger on CBS' Sunday Morning. Cool guy Hope he come' s around here I'd go see him in a heartbeat!!!@
January 28, 2007Smarty,
I am very, very happy that you had such a great experience!
January 29, 2007Damn, it's been over a day since I read this thread and I STILL have 'Beautiful Loser' stuck in my head.
Curse you all!
Maybe we need a thread on great bands from the 60's, 70's, 80's, that you never hear anymore, to inflict this sort of thing on other users.
January 29, 2007He's the Boss no doubt, I love that song "turn the page" and know all the words by heart!
I can't think of the name of the song with the line " I've been to the edge, there I stood and looked down, you know I lost a lot friends there baby" Thats all I can remember and it driving me crazy, LOL
I had a lot of 8-tracks, we all hated cassette when they came out because you could jump tracks you had to rewind or forward the tape. Nobody got mad when CD came out tho, instant access to all songs, just cost too much at the beginning!
