May 9, 2005Hey everyone, I was thinking that it would be great for us to have little antenna flags for big cruises like Pony Trails this year. That white little flag with the WA state and pony on it would stand out big time.

May 9, 2005or an antenna ball with our logo on it would be cool too. or jack can stand on my trunk with a ML t shirt on as we cruise down I-5
May 9, 2005Just a suggestion...flags are fine providing you don't have a power unit..
check this out...put them in the window for events...remove them for daily driving.....click "static sticker".
May 9, 2005I like the static sticker idea even though the antenna ball might work.
PCMC has antenna flags and if you forget them they blow off and are gone. The flags don't withstand the wind and weather very well either.
May 9, 2005sound really good!! make sure is stand out good so people can make
May 9, 2005I've used the static cling type signs on my car with no problems (track events!), but a lot of people will have trouble getting it to 'stick' to their paint.
For some you can clean the area, and then use water with a tiny bit of soap to get it to stick.
For others, the paint will just be too bumpy and it'll never stick (you'll have to use some kind of tape).
On the cruises I've been on the Mustangs all stand out since they're mostly together, and we run our headlights on to stand out a little more. I've never done anything as big as 'Pony Trails', though.
May 9, 2005I didn't think about losing the darn flag or having it blow away. Hmmm maybe rethink this idea. I kind of like the static sticker, although we do kind of have those now with the signs that Emily made. Maybe something we can place in our window that really stands out. Thanks for the input guys.

What about a custom car flag instead of a antenna flag?
May 9, 2005Sam - what about me when i am going down the road with my top down?? remember -- no windows...
You gonna ride along and hold the flag up in the air for me???
OK Guys and Gals... i have written a couple of emails off to companies this morning requesting quotes on making us our own flags with the logo of the horse.
I think we can get the antenna flags to stay on our antennas, if we go that way. Also have my eye on antenna balls (flag decals on them) and that would hold the flag on also.
Even if we get static cling decals.. don't we, when the weather nice, have our windows down and they wouldn't show anyways, unless we put them on the windshield. (Like i have my decal from Cafe)
